Shipping policy
Failed or refused deliveries
For international orders, customers are responsible for any import taxes, duties, and carrier handling fees charged by the destination country, as noted at checkout. If a delivery fails because these charges are refused, an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, or the parcel is not collected, the order will typically be returned to us or our print provider.
In these cases, we will refund the price of the item(s), less any non-recoverable costs we incur as a result, which may include original and return shipping and print/fulfilment costs. Because our books are printed on demand, returned copies often cannot be restocked or resold.
Where a delivery failure arises from circumstances genuinely outside the customer's control, we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis and may waive some or all of these deductions at our discretion. This does not affect the statutory cancellation rights of customers in the European Union described in the return and refund policy.
